Zoran Borisavljevic, Composer

Zoran Borisavljevic, a Serbian born American-Canadian film and television composer, is a traditionally trained musician who resides in Los Angeles, California.

He has studied at several prestigious music institutions including the Centre d’Information Musicale, Conservatoire Serge Rachmaninoff, McGill University and the University of Southern California. He began his career working on such television shows as Married with Children, Caroline in the City, Simpsons and the film Escape From LA. In 1997, he scored the Paramount situation comedy George and Leo.

Following this, he worked with producer Art Monterastelli on the one hour long Showtime dramatic series Total Recall 2070. For his musical achievement on Total Recall 2070, Zoran received a nomination for a Gemini Award from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, in the category of “Best Original Score for a Dramatic Series”. Zoran then composed the musical score for an independent motion picture, entitled The Learning Curve, directed by Eric Shwab.

Recently, he worked under supervision of composer and colleague Robert Kral on the Warner Brothers/Twentieth Century Fox hour long dramatic series Angel, ABC/Touchstone Television one hour dramatic series Miracles, Warner Brothers half hour long animated series Duck Dodgers and the Sci-Fi/Lions Gate Entertainment hour long series The Dresden Files.
